About this policy

Padel & Pickleball is provided by Naz İrem Baz, an individual developer. This policy describes the current development pilot. For privacy questions or requests, contact n.irembaz@gmail.com. You can use local scoring without creating an account.

Accounts and shared matches

For an account, Supabase processes your email address, password credentials or Apple identity when available, account identifier and security logs. We store your player name and ID, accepted terms version and time, friendships, shared match membership, teams, scores, match events and a scoring device identifier. We use these records to provide accounts and shared play, enforce access rules and resolve synchronization conflicts.

What other players can see

Signed-in players can search your display name or player ID and send a friend request. Your email is not included in player search. Accepted friends can find your open match rooms. Anyone with a valid match code can preview a lobby and join an open place without being your friend. Match participants can see the players, teams and scores. Friendship alone does not give access to past match results.

Photos, sharing and Apple Watch

Photos are optional and stay in the app on your iPhone. We do not upload them to our server or send them to other players. The camera is accessed only after you choose Take photo and allow permission; the system photo picker gives the app only your selected image. Images are resized and re-encoded without their original metadata. When you choose Share, the result image and its visible player names and scores are passed to the destination you select, whose privacy practices then apply. Device backups may contain local app data. A paired Apple Watch receives match data for scoring.

Optional usage and diagnostics

Share usage & diagnostics is off by default. If you enable it, the iPhone sends match lifecycle events, sport and format, keeper or viewer role, random measurement and event identifiers, match identifiers, app version, time and a limited error category to our Supabase project. It does not include names, email, photos, match codes, raw scores, error text or account tokens. Identifiers can be associated with shared match records, so this data is not described as anonymous. We use it to understand completed matches, returning use and technical problems. Shared match totals are also summarized on the server from records already needed for shared play. There is no advertising or cross-app tracking.

Keeping and removing data

Account records are kept while your account exists. Profile → Delete account removes your authentication account, profile, acceptance record and friendships. Other participants keep shared results with your identity replaced by Deleted player on their next online refresh. A live match you host ends as incomplete at its current score. Your unstarted rooms close and your place in other unstarted rooms is freed. Account photos and cached shared matches on this iPhone are removed. Independent copies and device backups remain under their owners’ control; account-free local matches remain on their device. Hiding a match only changes your history view and does not delete the result.

Measurement retention

Optional measurement events are kept for a 90-day pilot window. A daily server cleanup removes events after 90 days, along with inactive empty measurement streams and expired shared measurement summaries. Removal normally occurs within the following day; service interruptions can delay the scheduled run. This cleanup does not remove your match history. Turn sharing off, sign out or delete your account to stop collection, clear unsent events and request removal of this installation’s sent optional events when connected. A small revocation record rejects late uploads and expires after 90 days without activity. Unsent events expire after seven days. Reinstalling the app loses the removal key; remaining server events then expire through the scheduled cleanup. Maintenance records contain only dates and deletion counts and are kept for 30 days.

Providers and security

Supabase provides authentication and database hosting; the current development database is in Frankfurt, Germany. Resend provides password-recovery email delivery through its configured Ireland sending region. It processes the recipient email address, reset-message content and delivery events. We do not enable open or click tracking for these emails or use them for marketing. Apple processes Sign in with Apple when it is available and selected. Providers may process operational data in other locations under their applicable privacy and data-protection terms. Infrastructure logs and backups follow provider retention policies. The pilot has no separately configured app database backup service. Connections use HTTPS and account sessions use the iOS Keychain. We do not sell personal data. This website has no app analytics scripts or advertising cookies; its hosting provider processes ordinary request data to serve the pages.

Your choices and requests

You can play locally, change your player name, remove a photo, hide or restore a finished match, end a friendship, turn off optional sharing, sign out or delete your account. Camera permission can be changed in iOS Settings. We do not request contacts, location, microphone, HealthKit or tracking access. Contact n.irembaz@gmail.com for access, correction, a copy or deletion of your data, or a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. Your rights, including the right to complain to a relevant data-protection authority, depend on your location.

Children and policy updates

The app is not directed at children. Do not create an account if you cannot lawfully agree to the service terms in your location. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information can contact us to request its removal. We will update this policy when the service changes and seek further consent where required.
